Coffee is native to Ethiopia and Sudan, and its productions spans centuries. The coffee bean made its way to South and Central America via the colonising Spaniards, Portuguese and French. Colombia’s long history of coffee production commenced in 1790. The prized bean is classically grown in the UNESCO World Heritage Zona & is a high-altitude crop. Growers use the shade canopy of trees to protect the local ecosystem of multiple plant species like bananas & papaya which add special flavours to the bean. Our single-origin coffee is from 4 zones with cupping scores above 85 (the average bean in Oz is 55). This is a smooth & drinkable over the entire day.
